Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy is the guided actions and directions that allow your body to heal itself. A good physical therapist directs your body and mind to perform consistent actions which lead to rehabilitation. How is this done?

The human body responds to the types of forces which are put through it on a regular basis. This includes all of our daily activities: sitting, standing, walking, squatting, running, bending, lifting, cleaning, and even lying down. These forces are the “instructions” to our body in how it constantly reshapes itself.

You may think of your body as a static object because it doesn’t appear to change much - but you know of at least one person who has made dramatic change to their appearance by gaining or losing weight. The same types of processes that can change a person’s body composition is also working at this moment to maintain it. This same process can be harnessed to heal injured or dysfunctional bodily tissues.

By adjusting your lifestyle, even if only temporarily, we can reshape bodily tissues to rehabilitate. Whether you’re suffering from new & unexplained pain or an old injury, we can heal the body by using its own natural processes.
